ABOUT ME
Amanda Steeb, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hi! I am the owner and sole speech-language pathologist at Southern Charm Speech Therapy. I grew up on the southside of Indianapolis, Indiana and completed my bachelor's and master's degrees at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. In 2016, I moved to North Carolina for more sunshine and began working in Lincoln County Schools. After several years in the school system, I opened Southern Charm Speech Therapy to serve children in the local community that I have grown to love in my time here. I provide tailored speech and language therapy services for children to help them overcome communication challenges and/or develop their speech and language skills. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging environment to meet individualized goals.

Articulation Treatment

Focuses on improving a person's ability to pronounce sounds and words correctly.

Common for children who are difficult to understand and demonstrate speech errors that are not considered developmentally appropriate.
Language Treatment

Focuses on improving a person's ability to communicate effectively with others.

Common for children who are using fewer words than expected for a given age, consistently demonstrating grammatical errors, or have delayed vocabulary skills.
Reading Tutoring

One-hour sessions available using a Science of Reading aligned curriculum (SMARTER Intervention) to improve reading and writing skills.
